This blade is incredibly powerful, delivering a punch that surpasses any other Butterfly blade I’ve tried, including my extensive collection. Due to its hinoki wood construction and five-ply design, it’s remarkably lightweight. This blade is designed for aggressive attackers who seek to end points with a single solid shot. The use of tensor rubber is highly recommended, further enhancing its performance.

This blade is truly exceptional and unparalleled in the market. I own two of them and highly value them. Before Butterfly discontinues production, as is rumored, I urge you to acquire one. Despite its high price point, it is well worth the investment. There is simply no blade currently available that even comes close to matching its capabilities.

Blade Name: Offensive

Review:

The Offensive blade stands out as an excellent choice for players who favor an aggressive playstyle. Its construction from premium materials amplifies the power behind your shots, enabling you to execute potent attacks with confidence. Excellent control accompanies the raw power, allowing you to direct your strokes with accuracy and precision.

The blade’s design incorporates a thicker core, contributing to its enhanced power output. The additional thickness increases the dwell time of the ball, providing ample opportunity for generating spin and maximizing the impact of your strikes. The larger sweet spot进一步扩展, embracing the entire surface of the blade. Regardless of where you make contact, you can anticipate a powerful and consistent response.

For players seeking an Offensive blade that combines brute force with impeccable control, the Offensive blade is an ideal choice. Its blend of speed, power, and precision empowers you to dominate the table with forceful attacks while maintaining the finesse to place shots with accuracy. Whether you’re an experienced veteran or a rising star, this blade will elevate your game to new heights.

Perfect for loopers and hitters. You can do both with this blade.

I have used this racket for almost six years since 2012. In recent years, I have become obsessed with penhold Ping Pong blades.

Amultart is extremely fast. People say it’s not for beginners, and that’s true. I had to adapt to this blade after changing from my Donic Carbospeed. Compared to the Carbospeed, this blade is still controllable, but the topspin is incredibly fast. It provides a good feeling, good touch, and decent control.

Mine is only 81 grams. I’m not sure why my blade is so light, as I checked it on the web and it should be around 86-88 grams. To compensate, I need to put a heavy rubber on the forehand, like Rasanter R53, and Donic Bluegrip V1 on the backhand. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Despite the weight issue, I still like the Amultart very much.

The fastest ZLC blades are good for experienced players using Tener 05, but a high level of skill is required. They are not suitable for beginners.

Played for a few games. Not heavy, very good loops and great control. Expensive.

#9 — February 2018

I use Tenergy 05 FX for forehand and Tenergy 05 for backhand. This combination is amazing! It’s fast but controllable, allowing me to block easily. I can also create super spin loops very easily for both swings.

Previously, I played with DHS Ma Long V (997 non-commercial version). However, I now prefer the Butterfly Amultart. It has become my first choice for gaming.

It’s my second time to have an Amultart blade. I could say it’s lovelier the second time around. Now that my stroke is developed, unlike the first time I had an Amultart blade, I could say that this is the best blade I’ve ever used.

I have tried the following Butterfly blades: Gergely Classic old tag, Gergely 21, Garaydia ZLC, Innerforce ZLC, Photino, Jun Mizutani old and new blade, Adidas blades like Challenge Speed and Strike Wood 7, and lastly the Xiom Hayabusa ZX blade. With all those blades, Amultart is the best. With Joola Rhyzm 48 degrees for FH and Joola Rhyzm P 45 degrees for BH, it’s a beast. The speed, control, and feel are great!

Not for beginners though. Highly recommended! ()

This is a lovely blade. It offers a nice touch play and superb control near or far from the table. It puts every ball into the table and is very forgiving with its large sweet spot. It feels great, is of premium quality, and sounds sweet. The vibration is perfect for me, just a bit that I like.

It’s also super fast with amazing control. This is my most favorite blade from all the rest of the very good blades that I have: Btfly Marcos Freitas, Garaydia T5000, Yasaka Max Carbon 3D, Stiga Infinity V Diamond Touch, Sense 7.6, Arctic Wood, Andro Ligna Off+, and Treiber Z all FL/Master/Legend grip.

I’m also a Jpen player, apart from my Amultart, my only favorite Jpen is Yasaka Hasha Gold (1 ply Kiso Hinoki 10mm) after trying out countless others. Hinoki is amazing wood for TT, which is the outer veneer used in the Amultart. I am an aggressive type attack offense player, so I like superfast blades with very good control.

#13 — April 2016

This is the best among the best blades I have used, such as Sardius, TB alc, Viscaria, Bty Liu Shiwen, Rosewood NCT V, and Xiom Vega Tour. However, I always turn back to my Amultart! Thanks, Butterfly!

Highly recommended for intermediate and professional players who seek a stiff blade with outstanding feeling, dwell, and control while maintaining high speed. It excels in speed and control during rallies. The Hinoki wood provides a sense of balance and ball control, enabling accurate play, even in short games at the table. Its exceptional active backhand block with Tenergry 64, M2, and P7 allows for powerful forehand topspin with Raxza 9. I highly recommend this blade as it offers the perfect combination for aggressive and tactical gameplay.

Excellent blade. After a 20-year hiatus, I have resumed serious table tennis training. I never had the chance to play with expensive, well-crafted rackets before. However, with so many options available now, what seemed almost impossible years ago is now a reality.

I spent time researching the latest, greatest blades on the market and the Amultar caught my eye. I have now owned and practiced with it for two weeks and am astonished by how effortlessly and comfortably I can return the ball. Yes, as stated in previous reviews, this racket is lightning fast yet controllable. If you possess the fundamental understanding of proper table tennis technique, you will find exceptional satisfaction with this blade. However, I strongly advise against recommending this racket to beginners.

#16 — June 2015

Replaced it with my BTF Primorac blade for more speedy looping and mashing. Definitely a fast/controllable blade for advanced players.

This is my 3rd day to play with it. I put the Adidas P7 on both BH/FH to give more control and best spin serving.

Love it… The forehand and backhand loops are tremendously fast, as well as mashing when needed!

#17 — October 2014

This blade is certainly fast, for me, really fast. To better control it, I put soft rubber, I put Donic Blue Fire M3 on FL, and Stiga Calibra Tour S in BH. I definitely love this blade!

#18 — June 2014

Surprisingly, with this speed, it has decent control. I had Tenergy 05 and Tenergy 80 on the forehand and backhand, respectively. No doubt this is a blade for advanced players.

#19 — May 2014

A great blade with the same handsome Japanese manufacturing. Fantastic feeling, amazing on the block and smashing, with hard looping capabilities. I am trying it with Tnergy 05 on the forehand and 25 on the backhand. Wow!

#20 — May 2013

I’m a returning TT player. I played regularly 15 years ago and have been playing about 6 hours a week for 3 months. When people say this blade is only for advanced players, I can safely say they don’t know what they’re talking about. It might be too fast for them to control. My game mostly consists of pushes, blocks, and spin; however, I occasionally counterloop or smash when the opportunity arises. All I’m saying is this blade can do short games just as well as other blades. Not to mention it has the gears for back table speed. I recently beat a friend who’s usually tough to beat. That sums it up.

#21 — March 2013

This blade is incredibly fast. It can be used at the “ALL” level. If you have good control and don’t rely on the blade for control, you will love this blade. You can play with power-packed top spins or thrilling chops, and you’ll be able to manage with this blade.

Some say it “chooses” the right rubbers to play well, but it is a versatile blade. It can be played from all- to off+++. Put on European rubbers, and you’ll get incredible spin. Put on Chinese rubbers, and you’re ready to make the ball rush in 5th gear, provided you can control it.

I previously paired mine up with Hurricane 3 Neo National Blue Sponge (FH) and a Donic Coppa JO Platin (BH), and I dominated many well-respected players in our club. Presently, I’m fond of using my H-WL with H3NeoBS (FH) and BTY Sapphira (BH), while my Amultart is currently teamed up with Yasaka Xtend HS (BH) and JO Platin (FH) (I’m thinking of switching to H3 or Globe National). If you have the money, go for it!

#22 — March 2013

Good blade for direct offensive play, with low dwell time. Not for loopers depending on variations in their loops. All in all, a good blade but difficult to control. Also, quality diminishes over time.

#23 — February 2013

The ZLC with the wonderful outer soft wood laying helps me much in upholding the ball, giving me full and precise control over my smashing and spinning line.

#24 — February 2013

My personal rate:

Speed: 9.6 Control: 8.5

This was my first blade. Fast, decent control, and moderate dwell time. Pair it with 2.0 or lower rubbers for better control.

#25 — May 2012

Magic touch with it, and simply beautiful. Deadly loop, drive, and chop very easy, smash is very speed spinning. I tried it with Bryce rubber, and then my game is going up, making me have a killer skill for my training partner.

The blade is fantastic. Before, I used Kokutaku Blutenkirsche and Butterfly Primo Vittese, after using the Amultart, I then used both of the blades very comfortably with good skill. Whatever, the Amultart is super fantastic… Thanks, Butterfly…;-).

#26 — May 2012

This is a great blade, but it requires careful rubber selection.

I started using it with Butterfly Tenergy 25 FH and Yasaka Razka 9 BH, but I found the combination of T25 and this blade too hard to control on the FH.

It’s not as spinny as it is fast, and that takes getting used to.

When I switched BH/FH, I found the R9 just right in terms of looping and control.

#27 — April 2012

I have been using the Amultart blade for two weeks. This blade provides great speed and spin in every game, but I am not yet proficient in controlling it. This is because I have been playing ping-pong for three years as an autodidact. I may require specific training to control this blade effectively, as I do not have a trainer.

In terms of rubber, I am using Haifu Whale 2 for my forehand and LKT Torrent Gold for my backhand.

#28 — March 2012

It’s a great blade for offensive players who like to attack with speed and power. The blade is made of high-quality carbon fiber, which gives it a lot of pop and makes it very responsive. It’s also very well-balanced, which gives it a lot of control. Overall, it’s a great blade for offensive players who are looking for a fast and powerful blade.

This blade is not for beginners. It’s a very fast blade, and it can be difficult to control for players who are not used to playing with a fast blade. It’s also a very stiff blade, which can make it difficult to generate spin. Overall, it’s a great blade for advanced players who are looking for a fast and powerful blade, but it’s not a good choice for beginners.

#29 — January 2012

Seriously fast! I tried this with Joola Energy X-Soft (only 1.8mm), and it was unbelievably quick. Not recommended for beginners.

#30 — September 2010

I have been playing with the Amultart ZL Carbon blade since 2008. I find it to be superior to both the Mazunov OFF+ and Sardius blades. It has been the best blade I have ever used. I am extremely satisfied with it.

#31 — January 2010

If you’re a hard hitter, this is the right blade for you! The best combo I’ve tried so far is Xiom Zeta European for the forehand and Joola Express Two for the backhand. Blocks, drives, and counter-loops are a breeze with this blade! It’s worth every cent.

#32 — December 2009

Superbe blade! My all-time favorite! Excellent control.

#33 — December 2009

This blade is possibly the best thing out there. Looping with this thing is simply beautiful. Along with looping, close table play from smashing to flicking is outstanding.

#34 — November 2009

I have been playing with the Amultart for about a month. I use Andro max rubbers, and my game has drastically improved. It’s an excellent blade! I have been playing for 25 years, and this blade is in my top three. It’s an exceptional blade.

#35 — August 2009

It is a blade with gorgeous manufacturing quality. However, I find it very hard and stiff, with little dwell time compared to a Mizutani and a Photino. The throw is lower (with Tenergy 05), and the feeling for the ball is much worse.

This blade is not for the advanced or intermediate player; it is for highly advanced players with a direct offensive style. If you use variable loops, sometimes direct and sometimes with a lot of spin and feel, choose a different blade.

However, I assume it is the perfect blade for the type of players it is supposed to be used for, meaning players with direct hard attacks who do not need much feel for the ball.

#36 — July 2009

This blade is really amazing and worth every penny. You can create deadly loops with it from both wings. Even though I use the penhold version, it is not that different. It is also heavy (e.g., mine was 95g), which I really like!

#37 — June 2009

Butterfly Amultart ZL Carbon is an outstanding blade for two-winged loopers. It seamlessly combines speed, control, and thickness, enabling deadly loops, flips, and precise drives.

Despite its similarity to the Mizutani Jun, the Amultart ZL Carbon is notably thicker and heavier. This enhanced weight and thickness contribute to increased acceleration, ultimately resulting in more powerful shots. However, this advantage comes with a compromise: a slight reduction in stroke speed and control.

As with all Butterfly blades, the Amultart ZL Carbon boasts exceptional quality. It is an ideal choice for any player seeking an offensive edge. While the price may be higher than comparable blades, its exceptional performance and durability justify the investment.

#38 — Long Time Ago...

Weight: 86g; T05 2.1 on both sides.

After testing numerous rubbers and thicknesses, I can confidently say that the optimal choice is T05 2.1. The ball exhibits remarkable precision, with excellent control in blocking, mid-distance play, close to the table, and receiving. It excels on both the forehand and backhand.

While the speed is not exceptionally high, it suffices for most scenarios. Spin is a standout feature of the blade. The throw angle is relatively low, complementing the T05’s slightly higher throw angle. This combination provides an arc-shaped trajectory with optimal landing on the table. The blade is not excessively bouncy.

With increased acceleration, you can generate sharp topspins and execute precise placements. The recent Victas ZL is believed to emulate the Hinoki/ZLC of Amultart, previously used by Niwa Koki in 2012.

#39 — Long Time Ago...

This blade excels at controlling and blocking. It provides a high level of precision and stability, allowing players to execute controlled shots and effectively counterattack their opponents' attacks.

#40 — Long Time Ago...

I like the speed, power, and control of this blade. It works well with Chinese rubber.

Update: December 2023

I am using Donic Bluestar A1 in both the forehand (FH) and backhand (BH), and it is perfect!

#41 — Long Time Ago...

A few years ago, I got into the mindset of playing the safe game and controlling the ball more, so I went from my Primorac Carbon to Clipper Wood, which was fun for a long while. Then I moved to Xiom Feel zx2 because of the Hinoki layer to see how it affects the dwell time, touch, and control, which was good too. However, I needed to put more effort into my shots.

Recently, I played with Amultart and cannot lie; it felt so much better than any of the abovementioned blades. It is fast, quite hard, but very forgiving. Blocking is very easy, smashing is very easy, dwell time is less than Clipper Wood or Feel zx2, but not bad in any way. I felt even my out of position loops with bad posture would land easier than the other blades.
