Blocks: Excellent
Drives: Pretty good
Counters: Insanely good and insensitive to spin
Looping: Good
Powerlooping: Not good, tends to dump in the net; requires brushing and hitting in the same stroke for power and spin.
Serve/Receive: Mediocre
Opening: Easy when brushing the topsheet only.
Overall, this rubber is average for players who want to set up for a shot on the other side of the racket or counter for the win. Counterlooping and topspinning fast and powerfully are not its strengths, but it offers good spin and countering capabilities.
One of the best backhand rubbers! It’s spin insensitive, so backhand flicks against heavy spins are easy. The medium-hard sponge makes the rubber consistent when flicking. It has good speed and control, a solid catapult effect, and reasonable amounts of spin. Overall, I would rate it 8.5/10. This rubber is a safe bet; you can’t go wrong with it. The Omega series is a much better choice than Vega in today’s era.
I use it backhand on YEO as 2 mm sponge in black color. It’s very nice for blocking, produces crisp feeling and is not sensitive to spin. It has a 45-degree sponge and a firm top sheet, so it doesn’t have a soft feel. For topspin games, you must brush the ball property. Then, it can be a spin monster and the speed is phenomenal. It has a nonreactive sponge, so it is very controllable over the table. If you hit hard, it will produce very spiny top spins with a lot of speed. And, it is durable too. For 35 euros in my country, it is a good value for money.
Best FH I played so far. You have to play with this rubber for 4-5 sessions to see its full potential. The rubber gets bouncier and faster after 8-10 hours of playing with it. After this, it holds its performance for a long time. Buy it, test it for 8-10 hours, and you will see what I mean. You will find my full review here:

For the price, it is horrible! I cared for this rubber like my baby, but after 3 months it went dead. If you want a good pushing or flat hitting rubber, this will do you fine. However, if you want anything else, then don’t bother buying this. I got my coach and other players to try it, and they were surprised how bad it was. No top spin, not much spin for the price, and no “wow” factor. Save your money.
Very nice rubber. It’s easy to generate spin in drives with good speed. Although it’s the softest version among Omega rubbers serie, it’s not a soft rubber, maybe more of a medium one. It’s not a tacky rubber, so it is perfect for blocking and receiving serves because it’s very insensitive for incoming effect. Serves are just OK, not awesome, but not bad either. It is very durable. I’ve had it for 4 months and it’s still good, so nothing to complain about. I use this rubber on the FH of my Yasaka Ma Lin Extra Ofensive blade (Chinese penhold) and it becomes very easy to open game with topspin, even against heavy backspin serves.
Review Text:
This rubber is excellent for backhand play. Its exceptional control is the primary reason for its popularity. Transitioning from Andro Hexer to this rubber was seamless, offering similar gameplay. The spin-insensitive nature of this rubber enhances backhand reliability.
To generate spin, engage the sponge fully due to the non-tacky surface. Doing so produces incredible spin, even on short, fast strokes. This makes it ideal for backhand flips, openers, and drives.
Very good rubber.
It takes 1-3 sessions to adjust to the rubber. After that, it becomes superb.
It is best for forehand, and the touch feels very good.
The spin and speed have a good punch, and the best is its control.
This is a good rubber with a decent amount of speed but focuses more on spin. Its throw angle is medium-high. Overall, this rubber is balanced and really good for an offensive backhand that requires good control.
The sheet weighed 49 grams when cut to my 157 mm x 150 mm blade, placing it between Tibhar’s MX-P and Stiga’s Airoc Astro M.
FH flat hits had a tendency to go long. Properly executed FH loops resulted in a nice crisp sound and a beautiful arc over the net.
Soft, touch-based loops from mid-distance are encouraged over hard loop drives. Opening loops against backspin are easy due to the high throw, but generating high speed is difficult, allowing the opponent to get into position and attack the slow loop.

I am very disappointed with this rubber. Brand new out of its package and on the first day of play, the top sheet is stiff, the sponge is firm, and there is no dwell time. The speed is medium, and the spin is medium but nothing special. The manufacturer says it has dynamic friction technology, but still the grip is nothing special; it’s average. The Omega 4 Europe is a far better rubber.
Excellent rubber. I am using it on a forehand (FH). It is fast, generates great spin, and has very good control.
Excellent rubber that combines great speed, spin, and control. It’s remarkably easy to play with. I prefer using it on the backhand.
I got this in a 2.0 sponge for my backhand. I think it shines on the backhand because it is not too sensitive to incoming spin and has nice control; however, it is also excellent for looping. This rubber is very spinny and has a higher throw angle, so it’s naturally suitable for looping. Drive and block are also very good. I’m sure this could be used very well on the forehand as well.
Really nice rubber in all facets. Supposedly it is not all that great close to the table, but I found it to be accurate and linear at all distances. My favorite aspect of the rubber is its ability to impart topspin, which allows for sensational looping from backhand and forehand. For example, picking up backspin or topping side spin is made quite easy with this rubber. The push is just OK – not my forte, so it’s hard to rate. Smash is also really consistent and solid.
I am using 2.0 mm on DHS Power G-7 as a backhand rubber. I shifted from Moon Pro to this about six months ago and found it very good at first. But lately, I realized that it has lost some spin and control. It may be due to my combo, but I believe that as a spin rubber, it is not grippy enough to catch the ball in difficult situations. This becomes especially evident when you are in an awkward position where an incomplete loop or topspin is required. In other words, you must always complete your move carefully to find the target.
Originally, I tried the Omega 5 Euro on my Xiom Axelo blade, and it performed reasonably well for both forehand (FH) and backhand (BH). While it was a bit bouncy, it still offered decent spin.
However, I subsequently moved it to my 5P blade, and the performance became inconsistent. Sometimes, it generated excellent spin, while on other occasions, it lacked spin altogether on the same shot.
Despite these inconsistencies, I would still recommend this rubber.
Update:
I have since moved the rubber back to my Axelo blade and am now using it exclusively for BH. It exhibits good spin and speed, and while it remains slightly bouncy, it feels comfortable. I recommend this rubber, but it’s important to consider the specific blade it will be used on.
Review:
This is a very easy-to-use rubber. I use it in maximum thickness for forehand. First loop, second loop, or killing hit are all very easy to execute. It’s also very easy to play near the net with this rubber. However, it does not accept incoming spin. Passive blocking is easy, and I can make drop shots from loops.
I’ve been using this rubber for three months and it looks like it’s been used, but it still plays like a new rubber.
I use AVX P500 (5 layers, wood only, springy blade) with this rubber.
Cut on a standard shakehand blade, the rubber weighs 50 grams (at maximum thickness). This makes it a heavy rubber, especially compared to Fastarc S-1, which weighs 41 grams (2.0mm being its thickest version).
The rubber offers super spin; you can notice the tremendous spin it generates within 10 seconds of using it. Speed and control are also great. However, if you can create a lot of spin, control will not be an issue, and the ball will maintain good speed even after hitting the opponent’s table.
In my opinion, the hardness of the top sheet and sponge are truly medium, as rated in this database.
I tried the Xiom Omega V Europe on my TSP gaia. I have had a Xiom Vega Europe on this blade before and can feel almost no difference. Perhaps I am not a good enough player. However, in my opinion, the Evolution EL-P and the Adidas Tenzone Ultra have way more power and are more spinny while being just as heavy. It plays similarly to the Victas V-01 Limber and Donic Bluefire JP03 as well.
From my perspective, the Rasant Grip, mentioned above, is in a completely different level of gameplay. To summarize:
Good Off- control/spin rubbers:
Spin Monsters:
New Spin Monster/ Fast Attack/ Aggro rubbers:
After using Andro Rasant Grip for six months, I sought a change and found this rubber to be ideal.
It offers a subtly softer feel and a higher throw. Subjectively, I perceive it to be slightly slower than Rasant Grip or perhaps the softer feel creates this impression. The spin is comparable, while I experienced significantly improved control.
Despite its slightly heavier weight, which is on par with Rasant Grip, I quickly adapted due to my prior experience. Overall, it provides an exceptional playing sensation. Among the rubbers I’ve tested, this one stands out as the best.
I opted for the maximum thickness and paired it with the Infinity VPS V FL Master blade, a combination that has yielded excellent results.
The Best fh rubber I’ve ever used. It provides more spin and feeling than its predecessor, the Omega IV Europe. I also find it plays better than the Sigma series. It is easy to counter loop and counter smash. Pushing and serves are full of effect and easy to keep low on the table.
