All-wood
The 92g FL version of this blade is an excellent choice for offensive playing styles.
While it is slightly head-heavy when paired with modern rubbers, it compensates by offering great feeling and precise control.
Furthermore, the workmanship from Nittaku is impressive.
Whoa, Nellie! This blade is the cat’s meow! Paired with G-1 on both sides, you can’t miss! Excellent looping ability and blocking are where this blade shines. Did I mention feel? Yes, this blade is an extension of the hand! Pricey? Yes. Nittaku? What do you expect?
Blade Review: High Performance with Exceptional Control
With a weight of 87 grams, this blade provides an exceptional feel for the game. When paired with DHS Skyline 3 Provincial 40’ (one layer booster) on the forehand and R50 on the backhand, it offers excellent feedback and low, pleasant vibrations. Serving and pushing become effortless, enabling precise shot placement.
Touch shots such as flips, short dead/spinny balls, and various variations are executed with accuracy and aggression. Blocking is made effortless, with incoming spin having little to no impact on the player. Counter driving and spinning are consistent and powerful, allowing for versatile play styles. Spin creation and power shots are at the player’s command, with the blade offering a wide range of gears to suit different playing styles.
Loop kills, balloon loops, and counters are all effective and spinny, with the blade’s responsiveness ensuring precision and control. Mistakes are primarily the result of player error, not the blade’s performance. It can cater to various playstyles, from the slow and controlled chopping style to the powerful and aggressive looping style of Ma Long. The consistency and reliability of the gears, combined with the moderate pace of basic shots, make it beginner-friendly while also providing ample challenge for experienced players.
Overall, this blade offers exceptional control and versatility, making it a valuable asset for any table tennis enthusiast. Its high-performance capabilities and ease of use make it a worthwhile investment for players seeking to elevate their game.
The greatest blade ever.
Sound: Control: Spin: Grip: One con: High throw.
Very good blade. It has superb control and good speed. The grip is very comfortable in my hand. It is a good product from Nittaku.
Excellent Product with High Quality
Mine weighs 89 grams with a flared handle. For my forehand, I use DHS H8 40 degrees with 2.1 mm thickness. On my backhand, I use BTY Rozena. The handle grip is comfortable, although it’s slightly larger than DHS or TMB series handles.
Forehand Performance
The forehand is an exceptional spin generator. It enables me to topspin every shot and perform loop-kills effortlessly.
Backhand Performance
The backhand is suitable for blocking, punching, and chopping with precise placement.
Speed
While not super fast, the blade is very fast. I rate its speed 9.5/10 compared to FangBo B2X. It’s faster than TMB ALC/Viscaria.
Feel
The contact feel is firm, but the blade is elastic. This gives my forehand shots the combination of speed and spin that leads to a “kick effect” on the ball, causing it to change its trajectory after hitting the opposite side of the table.
Weight Consideration
Heavier blades (over 90 grams) tend to be head-heavy, which is not my preference. Fortunately, my blade weighs 88-89 grams and feels comfortable to use.
Wow! Nittaku is an amazing manufacturer!
Nittaku Quality…what more to say? They make some of the highest quality table tennis blades. With a wide range to choose from, there is a blade out there for almost every player.
Whether you are looking for a blade that is fast and offensive or a blade that is more controlled and defensive, Nittaku has something for you. Nittaku blades are made with high-quality materials and craftsmanship, so you can be sure that you are getting a blade that will last.
Here are a few of the most popular Nittaku blades:
* Nittaku Acoustic Carbon: This blade is made with a combination of carbon and wood, giving it a great balance of speed and control. * Nittaku Hurricane Pro 60: This blade is made with a limba outer ply and a carbon core, giving it a fast and powerful feel. * Nittaku Kiwami: This blade is made with a combination of balsa and carbon, giving it a great combination of feel and power.
After a year of use, I’ve found that this blade is not particularly fast. However, when it comes to spin and control, it really excels. To achieve a tight game, it’s necessary to pair it with a fast and hard rubber. For my forehand, I use the Butterfly T5 hard or Andro R53. For my backhand, I use the Andro R50. This combination has been perfect for me.
What can I say after my first training session? I’ve returned to table tennis after 20 years and I used to play with a Klampar Tamca 5000 blade. However, with the introduction of plastic balls, my old blade was no longer suitable for me, so I switched to a TB ALC. I played with the TB ALC for half a year and still wasn’t sure if it was the right blade for my style. After reading some reviews, I decided to try the NBF ST.
Firstly, the blade weighs 92 grams. It’s not very fast but it’s not slow either. It’s slightly slower than the Timo Boll ALC. It has very good control. In my opinion, it’s a good blade for players who play close to the table and at mid-distance.
After several training sessions, I can confidently say that this is a very good blade. It’s not cheap, but it’s worth every penny. IMHO, it’s a better blade than the TB ALC. It offers better control and speed, and it doesn’t have any vibrations.
It’s a thing of beauty. I played with Acoustic for about a year using 2mm tibhar MXS on backhand and 2mm MXP on forehand. With BF, I have better control at the net, on blocks and I can keep the ball shorter and hit flat backhand better. Overall a big, immediate improvement in my game.
The speed on smashes with MXP BF is lower than Acoustic because the contact is not as springy. I suppose better spin, but the MXP was very springy and the MXS had no power on flat hit and was also springy. Well worth the money…
This blade is an incredible spin machine. It possesses exceptional feel for a composite blade, surpassing even some of my most cherished all-wood favorites. However, this blade is not suitable for beginners or even some experienced players. If you are playing with the Barwell Fleet for the first time, you may not initially appreciate its capabilities. However, with time and repeated use, you will unlock its true potential and discover its astonishing versatility.
This blade allows for seamless transitions between slow and explosive gameplay, and its high throw with multiple gears makes it incredibly dynamic. Surprisingly, despite its high throw, blocks remain low and swift. This unconventional combination usually requires two different blades, making the Barwell Fleet a truly remarkable product.
Adapting to the unique plys and behavior of the Barwell Fleet is essential, especially if you are transitioning from soft or medium-hardness blades. Despite the initial adjustment, the result is well worth the effort. It is precisely this distinct character that divides opinions, with some players embracing the Barwell Fleet and others finding it less to their liking.
I don’t know why I wasted my 4 years before the day I first touched this perfect blade. I used to play with some 729 rackets, Butterfly Zhang Jike ALCs, LongVs, and Timo Boll ALCs. I used to buy 3 Timo Boll ALCs because I thought that it was the best blade in the world. And one day I had the chance to try this blade. I sold all three Timo Boll blades at once.
Now I just keep this one. That’s enough for me.
Barwell Fleet: — Very easy to counterattack against under spin — The control is unbelievable. I can clearly feel the smallest impact of the ball on my racket. — The speed: At first when I used this blade to hit the ball softly, I thought that the speed was low. But when I loop with more power, the ball goes surprisingly fast. I think its speed is not lower than that of the Timo Boll ALC. — The Spin: This is really a blade for spin fans. I love spin and this blade makes it easy to put a lot of spin on the ball. — Block: This blade with a huge sweet spot and a good feel helps me block easily in both passive and active situations.
Conclusion: I hope I will stick with this blade for many years to come. I don’t want to waste my money and time on changing blades and rubbers anymore.
Decent speed, good feeling in the hand. However, it is not worth the price.
The Barwell Fleet blade is crafted with exceptional quality and workmanship. It offers a balanced speed, not overly fast but providing superb control. The blade construction conveys a noticeable sensation of the high-quality wood used.
The handle of the Barwell Fleet stands out for its ergonomic design and aesthetic appeal, ensuring a comfortable grip. This blade represents Nittaku’s high-end offerings.
When paired with hard and fast rubbers, the Barwell Fleet blade truly shines, complementing the player’s style and enhancing performance.
It took me a long time to write this review because I didn’t want to write anything without having really tested this blade. I’m used this for more than 1 years straight 3 hours a day. I am a novice in the sport and I bought this blade using this website to decide which should I buy. At the time this blade was selected as 1st on review as Best Control.
So I bought this blade thinking she’d have an excellent control, but she doesn’t have. She is a very fast and bounce blade, the Catapult effect is huge and the ball comes out of the rubber very fast.
I’m not saying that this blade is bad. Most definitely is not a beginner’s wood is a wood for advanced players, used various types of rubber soft, medium and hard. Viscaria, Timo Boll ALC, Timo Boll Spirite, are slower blades. In this way I will be following up with one of them.
Btw, Barwell Fleet have a perfect construction and a premium finish. Don’t vibrate. My conclusion, it’s a sensational blade but not for me.
I have the complete set of Barwell Fleet blades, including FL, ST, and Cpen. I specifically ordered the Cpen blade from China.
After experimenting with over 20 rubbers, I have found that Adidas P7, R6 max, Nittaku Renanos Hold, Xiom Sigma I Europe, Donic Desto Bigslam, and Victas Limber v>01 work best as my FH. I use them in combination with Nittaku Hammond Pro Beta or Adidas R6 with a 2mm sponge as my BH.
This blade is highly recommended for fans of Nittaku.
This blade offers excellent control, allowing for precise ball placement. It can adapt to varying playing styles, providing both slow and fast gameplay when necessary. The blade’s versatility makes it suitable for all playing distances, including close to the table, mid-distance, and far distance. Its build quality is exceptional, ensuring durability and reliability.
Amazing blade! If you are a beginner or intermediate player as I am, it may become very fast and uncontrollable. First, I tried to use it with Donic M1 on forehand and Donic M2 on backhand, and it was too fast for me. But it may be a good choice for high-level players. For intermediate players, match it with medium-soft, high control, high spin rubbers (Rakza7 Soft, Donic JP03, etc.). Then you will have a lethal weapon.
I think this blade has the closest feel to an all-wood blade with a composite layer. If you stick it with a hard rubber, you have to be careful about your spin moves because it basically teleports the ball to the other side of the table. But don’t panic; it still has a great level of control.
I’m using it with Andro Powergrip Max on both sides. It feels a bit heavy (straight grip with rubbers: 200 g. w/o rubbers: 88 g., flared grip is +2 g.). But I love its lightning-like blocks and beautiful long spins.
Even though it’s a stiff class blade, short loops are no problem with precise timing and technique. The price can be a little disturbing, but this handsome guy is really worth every penny. Best quality craftsmanship I’ve ever seen.
The blade’s construction features a stiff wood core, but during gameplay, you do not perceive this stiffness. The presence of carbon fiber enhances control without being overly noticeable. The overall feel resembles that of a pure wood blade, providing a comfortable and sensitive touch with a hint of vibration that aids in precision.
Although classified as a medium-fast blade, it exhibits exceptional power in looping, smashing, and driving strokes while maintaining excellent control. This attribute makes the blade suitable for offensive playstyles that prioritize both power and precision.
From my experience with various blades, including the Zjk Alc, Timo Boll Alc, Donic Ovtcharov, Hurricane Long 3, and Pter Korbel, this particular blade stands out as my preferred choice. It combines the control of the Pter Korbel with the speed that falls between the Dima and Boll Alc blades. With its exceptional balance, this blade empowers players to execute aggressive shots with confidence and accuracy.
The best blade I have played with. I used to play with INF ZLC and thought its control was good. Barwell Fleet (BF) really surprised me with its short game control and power far away from the table. I have owned several BF blades of various weights and they all play great. It is sad to see someone rated this blade at a miserable 6/10.
The best control ply I have ever used. Thanks Nittaku for this. It’s good for both topspin and has the best control for all types of shorts. It has a great feel.
Fh-Dhs blue sponge hurricane NATIONAL VERSION Bh-Tenergy-05
Now my topspin became like SEA WAVES with good bounce, but previously in Xiom rubber’s I didn’t feel that spin bounce. However, at the same time, the control is also very good, I feel very good with both the rubber and the blade.
This is the classic and the best blade in Nittaku.
For more than 1 and a half years, I’m using this blade. It has very good performance and is mainly used to vary the spins. It also has the best control in blocks and power blocks too, receiving and servicing, and great control for short push and tapping short balls.
If you know everything in the game but are losing without the best blade, then this will be your best choice.
Overrated and overpriced. I bought this blade nine months ago and have tried five different rubbers on it, but none of them have worked for me. The bat is always head-heavy and not well-balanced, which costs a lot of control. At least in my case, the sweet spot was normal and not larger than average.
I’ve recently switched to a blade from Butterfly, and what a difference it’s made! It’s a relief to be able to control the ball again.
In summary, I’m very disappointed with the Barwell Fleet. If it hadn’t been so expensive, I would have disposed of it much sooner.
Used this blade for a while and felt that what I gained in speed, I more than lost in control. This blade is really good at producing heavy loops, but not so much with softer, strafing the ball type variety. It also excels in close to the net game (touch) as well as smashing. Guess you can say it has many gears, but it wasn’t the right blade for me. I prefer a blade with a bit more dwell and topspin diversity.
Fantastic blade - a true amalgamation of woodiness, great feel, control, and power.
While it is not bouncy (offering great control in short game), it is powerful - more than the Viscaria / TB-ALC.
Topspins with this blade are very heavy - more than with regular Barwell (so I guess the glass fiber must contribute in some way).
As it does not have a pure carbon layer, speed / power varies with blade weights. The ones over 89g are especially powerful.
Purchased this blade for my mother, paired with Andro Rasant 2.0mm FH and Fastarc S1 BH max. The blade weighed in at 85.8g and measured 6.15mm in thickness.
Upon initial inspection, it was evident that the craftsmanship was of high quality. The wings were lightly sanded, and the blade surface was well-finished. The walnut exterior veneer added an aesthetically pleasing touch. To enhance its durability, a thin coat of polyurethane was applied, bringing the weight up to 86.1g.
During a recent four-hour play session, the blade performed exceptionally well. Its speed was comparable to the T-11+, complemented by an equally impressive level of control (no offense intended to Nittaku fans). The standout feature, however, was the significantly increased spin generation capability, which compensated for a perceived weakness in the T-11+.
Based on these observations, I would rate the blade as follows: Speed: 9.2; Control: 9.2; Overall: 9.3.
I recently acquired a new Barwell Fleet table tennis blade. Upon placing the blade on a flat surface, I noticed a slight unevenness. The surface exhibited a concave curvature on one side and a convex curvature on the opposite side. If I were to press down on one side of the blade, the opposing side would lift up approximately 1 millimeter. In contrast, my Viscaria blade does not exhibit this characteristic. Both blades are brand new and have never been adhered to any rubber. I am curious as to whether this is a common occurrence with table tennis blades.
This blade is absolutely awesome. I use Barwell Fleet with ST Handle, and the feel and control are perfect without reducing the speed at all. I can feel the slow stroke and give the nitro boost when I stroke fast.
I combine this blade with FH tibhar evolution EL-P and BH FX-P, and it works magically to improve all my strokes and blocks as well. The sensation of little vibration of this blade gives me a feel for each of my strokes, and I like it.
Japan-quality craftsmanship shines in this masterpiece. It offers unbelievably soft play for short games and delicate touches. Yet, with controlled force, it transforms into a lightning-fast racket. This exceptional quality comes at a premium, but as the adage goes, “Quality has always cost its equivalent.” In this case, it’s perfectly balanced, making it an investment that will elevate your gameplay.
The NBF blade is a top-rated choice for table tennis enthusiasts due to its exceptional capabilities, particularly for looping on both sides. It offers a balance of speed and control, making it ideal for mid-paced play.
A blade with very good control. Pay attention to the handle (I have big hands and I did not get accustomed to it). Maximum power with Tenergy 05. I do not recommend it for beginners. Exorbitant price.
One of the best blades I have ever used! Just a little too expensive.
At first glance, this 7-plywood blade with composite material has a medium-hard feel. Top quality, but a little pricey!
Speed/spin characteristics: Very good blade with medium-fast speed and high spin! Don’t be fooled by the hard feel—it produces much more spin than any other blades of similar hardness! Very good for lifting backspin balls and chopping topspins! Great control, very large sweet spot!
My review is too long for this box, so it’s in the discussion column below.
Whatever you enjoy in Innerforce ZLC and Timo Boll ZLC, you will find it all here in this blade. It offers incredible control and consistency, along with a noticeably large sweet spot.
I placed the blade in my right hand, and it felt like an extension of myself. It offers an exceptional range of gears, allowing for seamless transitions from soft and slow to explosive and powerful shots in an instant.
This blade is very stiff, with very good control and an excellent feeling. It is rated as an OFF- or OFF blade, and it is definitely worth every penny.
Best blade I ever had! It’s slightly faster than the BTY Primorac EX, but it has such a beautiful feel! The quality is also superb. It’s a real topspin monster!
I’m a blades collector. I have used over 100 different blades of almost all brands. This is the best one! It has super quality (the best blade ever!) and a perfect balance in speed and control. For the forehand, I use TIBHAR 1Q. For the backhand, I use ADIDAS Tenzone FX. It’s a looping machine. It’s much better than Ludeack Fleet and Tenor.
92g FL is a very good blade for an offensive playing style. It is a little bit head heavy with modern rubber, but it has a great feeling and control. It is nicely crafted by Nittaku.
The blade is excellent.
Excellent blade for anti-spin rubber, short pips, or even long pips rubber.
I’ve played table tennis for about 6 years and during all those years I have only used all-wood blades (Korbel, Stiga Clipper, Nittaku Acoustic). After 6 years, I felt like I was ready to get a faster blade. I have researched all the forums, group chats, blogs, and YouTube channels. In the end, I have shortlisted 2 blades: Viscaria and Marcos Freitas ALC (formerly known as Michael Maze). I was very close to buying one of them, but at the last minute, I had a second thought about Nittaku as my last blade was Nittaku Acoustic and I liked it very much, I thought Nittaku must have more good blades, so I went on tabletennis11 and looked for Nittaku blades and started reading the reviews of a couple of Nittaku blades, and one of them was Barwell Fleet. I read a lot of very good reviews. I then went onto other table tennis forums to see what other players think about it and read more positive opinions about this blade and the vast majority were very happy with it. One day I saw that this blade was on sale 50% off and I bought it without thinking twice. And now I am the most satisfied with my blade that I have ever been. This blade is a work of pure harmony between speed, feel, and control. And that is all you want in a blade. It has all the speed you need, the feel like it’s your hand and the control that lets you place the ball with millimeter accuracy. It’s a shame that Nittaku does not have the publicity and popularity of Butterfly; they truly deserve that, but this blade is as good as any blade anyone thinks is the best in his/her opinion. I have not owned many blades in my 6 years of playing, but I have tried many in the clubs I went to and none came close to Barwell Fleet. It’s a shame that I still have not tried the Viscaria or the Marcos Freitas blades that I initially wanted to buy just to compare with mine. I am sure I will try them one day; however, my hesitation to impulse buying and loyalty to Nittaku has repaid me with the best blade I could have. I hope it lasts a long time. Thank you Nittaku and tabletennis11 for finding me the blade of my dreams.
It creates the impression of a stable blade.
Good.
88 grams - played with Rasanter 50, G-1 and Skyline Provincial 40’ black. One rubber that didn’t work at all was Golden Tango PS. Pairs well with mid-low throw rubbers. Current setup and favorite - Skyline 40” blue pro FH and G-1 2.0 BH. Blocking- easy and effortless and safe. Serves/Receive/Short - impeccable with soft safe spinny (or not, it’s up to you) shots and ability to redirect spin with no trouble at all. Looping- super easy on backspin, topspin, or anything in between. Driving - works better with Euro/japs or boosted Chinese rubber. Countering - effortless, plenty of dwell and power. Has enough penetrating power if you are able to do solid quality strokes and has a nice flex that enhances a good stroke. Opening - easy, enough said. Smashing - works very well with no major issues except user errors.
Medium weight toward the head by a small margin with my current setup and works well with a short game and off-table shots too. Loop kills, counter drives, and spinny balloon loops all available at your behest and skills. Would recommend for intermediate (1800) and up (2800+) ratings. Also chops well for such a quick racket.
I really enjoy the feel, the control, the safety, and speed ratio. Perfect blend of speed and dwell time allowing for precise placement and redirection at will. Well worth the price and only picky about super high throw rubbers like D09C/T05, GTPS, and etc high throw bouncy rubbers. Solid OFF blade. Not off- not off ++++ gimmicks either.
Great wooden blade!!
Очень контрольная. Легче брать подачи после нитаки аккустик. Топ спины стабильнее.
This is an excellent blade for the amateur enthusiast as it has very good feel and control. However, it lacks the penetrating power needed at high levels. For that, blades like Viscaria and Timo Boll ALC are unparalleled. I say this because I have wasted thousands of dollars trying all sorts of fancy blades trying to avoid the Butterfly expensive blades, and after all these years, have realized that the Butterfly blades are really the best. Nittaku blades are second best, and there is an S Series which is made by Soulspin and is very good (has the penetrating power - try S-5 and S-KC). I have Barwell Fleet, all the S series blades, Acoustic Carbon Inner, Violin, Septear Lead from Nittaku, and I like the S Series the best and this Barwell Fleet.
Velocidad, control, tacto, estética, literalmente una belleza por donde se la mire.
Good blade!
I recently ordered my 2nd Barwell Fleet as a backup and comparison blade for rubbers. The Fleet is a blade for intermediate and up players. It is an ideal blade with soft to medium-hard tensor or European non-sticky rubbers. The feel is sharp and immediate with the above. If using Chinese rubber or “tacky” surfaces, there is a dulling upon contact and both technique and physical strength body mechanics are needed away from table due to the linear speed upon contact and stick of Chinese rubber. Overall the blade is excellent with a range of OFF to OFF+. The overall feel, speed, and control are rubber-dependent. Lastly, there is nothing like it; probably due to glass fiber and 9-ply construction.
The blade looks great! I put Butterfly Sriver in the BH and Yasaka 7 Soft in the FH, both with max thickness. The blade has great control, but the speed and spin are not up to what I expected. Maybe it is because I put slow rubbers on it! I may need to change to faster rubbers for this blade. I have only practiced with it a few times. I think I need more time to get the best out of this blade. Once again, thank you very much for providing excellent services, Tabletennis11 team!
Excellent speed and control blade.
After reading reviews, I purchased the Nittaku Barwell Fleet. It really is a great blade. I paired it with Hurricane Neo 3 provincial blue sponge on the forehand and Nittaku Fastarc G1 on the backhand. Very forgiving blade. It gives you confidence when making your drives. Loops are very spinny and low. Blocking is very forgiving. Enough power for strong smashes. Excellent for close-to-the-table subtle shots. One of the best blades I’ve tried so far. The great reviews it gets are a testament to its greatness!
This is the best blade I’ve ever had. It has improved my game a lot in the last 2 months. It’s heavy with a really nice sound while hitting. It has added pace to my backhand hit and has improved my forehand tremendously. Great for blocking, it has good feeling and excellent control. Although expensive, it has improved my game no end, so it was a worthwhile purchase all things considered.
Fast blade with a good amount of control.
I feel that the blade has less control and a little weight at the bottom.
The blade is a little on the heavy side but is a true work of art. It has an amazing feel to it with lots of gears. Packaging, delivery, and service from TT11 were first class! Received delivery (assembly & lacquering) to South Africa within a week.
Telaio di ottima qualità arrivato nei tempi stabiliti.
Very good offensive blade with perfect control.
The blade has improved my performance a lot (in less than 2 months of using it). It’s heavy with a really nice sound while hitting.
Forehand shot has added more spin and power to it.
For intermediate players, it will make a huge difference in playing style, and it will add much offensive style to yours.
Thank you, TT11.
Having the Glass-Fibre in the blade makes this blade have a great feeling yet good speed. Sort of the in-between of a wood blade and a carbon blade in terms of feeling and speed. Faster than wood but not faster than carbon and you can feel the ball, unlike carbon. Recommended for intermediate players learning to develop their strokes.
This is a must-try blade. I have Tibhar MXP max thickness on both sides and the pairing is awesome. I tried the 2mm before, but the overall performance is much better with max thickness. Touch game much better than Acoustic, lifting backspin super easy, needs less motion than Acoustic to generate power. Much better than Acoustic on flat hits, chops, and pushes. Generates less spin, but the trade-off in speed, control, and the ease of getting the ball to the other side makes it much better than Acoustic, with the same rubbers. It’s a little head heavy with this setup, but not horribly. With the new ball, it feels like you can crush it, flat hit through loops, and forehand short smash is amazingly easy. I never even train it and I am landing 70-80% of my attempts. I will try Viscaria with the MXP, but I highly doubt it can match the Barwell performance. A must-try blade.
Amazing blade. Good quality. Barwell Fleet has great control and is excellent in blocking. It is fast when it needs to be, as the dwell time is there when paired with the right rubbers. It feels like an all-wood blade but is excellent in driving and smashing as well. This blade can do it all!!
The blade is SUPER!.
I like it so much. I only felt a little heavy.
A good control blade was assembled with FH Tibhar Evolution MX-P and BH Nittaku Fastarc G-1.
Good quality blade. Not as stiff as some people say.
It’s an offensive blade. Good for both FH and BH loop and smash. Good control and block.
Muy buena calidad, rápido y con mucho control.
The quality of production is excellent. In terms of feel, it is slightly softer than Rutis Power, but the ball rebound speed is higher. With higher speed, excellent control is maintained. It allows for comfortable play in short game, blocks, topspin to topspin, basically everything you are capable of, with this blade you will implement at the table.
Excellent blade! It is stiff enough to support any rubbers, and it demonstrates exceptional balance and control in play. It can suit both attacking players and all-around players, depending on the type and thickness of the rubbers. Undoubtedly, this blade, considering all characteristics, is one of the best in the world.
Nittaku is the number one choice.
I am fairly new to table tennis (1.5 years) but I have been through 4 different blades, all of them good to varying degrees, but this one is so much better than the others it really surprised me. The feel and control are outstanding and yet it is plenty fast. I can feel exactly where on the bat the ball hits and it tends to go where I want it, whether I am fine pushing or power looping, over, close, or away from the table. The only issue is the handle is on the small side but I sorted that with a tennis wrap. In short, a brilliant blade well worth the money, especially with Tibhar Evolution MX-P rubbers.
This blade is so beautiful. The sound from this blade when you hit the ball is harmonious and euphonic. Good control, easy to generate spin. Pure wood feeling. Craftsmanship by Nittaku is superb.
Love this blade. I use Xiom Omega V Pro FH and Xiom Tour BH. Super fast, good control, very spinny. This blade is worth buying. Highly recommended. And the customer service is top-notch. Thank you, TT11.
High quality blade, control is very good and speed is amazing, but blocking on the table is not too easy; it requires a low speed rubber.
When I use this item, I win table tennis from another player often.
I think this item is stable and useful.
I will recommend this item to table tennis players.
Good control. Handle is a bit small, but good enough for me.
Inanılmaz bir tahta, üzerine t05 ve t80 ile muhteşem oldu. Ayrıca Tabletennis11’de inanılmaz bir site, ürün 5 günde geldi.
I have played with some fast frames where I had difficulties with the short game because the ball would tend to jump off the frame. I have also played with more allround frames where I missed some power in my shots. This frame is great for soft touches, but you can also play powerful shots with it. Love the extra control.
No way, it’s an OFF blade with maximum control.
You have to work a little bit on the block on the table but it comes easily.
My FH increased power, loop and percentage, my BH touch is now incredible; what else may I ask? I think this blade gives you an extra 2 points per set.
Best blade I have ever used. It has many gears. I play with long pimples on the backhand and Xiom Omega Europe on the forehand. It does all you want and the way you want. Best product. Cost is too high but worth the money.
Highly high-quality blade. Good response and control. Price might be too high compared to other blades that are also quite good.
It’s hard to put into words how incredible this blade is. The handle is pretty large, which I really like. What’s odd is the blade feels fairly stiff, but I still get good feedback from the blade. I can really feel the ball. It might have something to do with the fiberglass.
I’m most comfortable playing a couple steps back from the table, and this blade gives you the power to do so. It is fairly head heavy and heavy in general, which is something I got used to and now prefer.
There is an X factor that I can’t quite describe. I have a number of other blades that I let other people at my club try, and when they try the BWF I always get the same reaction… “This is weird…”
I’ve heard similar things about the Violin… It’s this distinct feeling that I’ve fallen in love with.
I have it paired with Sigma 1 Europe MAX thickness on both sides. If you’re someone who likes to loop a couple steps back off the table, I’d highly recommend that pairing to try.

Too flexible for me. The block has too high of an arc. Smashes are difficult with this blade. Very good topspin and great feeling. TBS is better for me.
I have played many blades, most of which are Butterfly blades; however, this is an excellent blade in terms of construction quality, power, and control. It is easy for under spin loop. It is worth the money compared to expensive Butterfly blades.
At first, I was very skeptical about this blade since I had bought a few Nittaku blades but the quality was not up to par. However, I decided to buy it and give this blade another try. When I received it, the blade was well packaged, and of excellent quality. After a couple of practice sessions, this blade is definitely very good. It has excellent control and power.
Best control and speed. Great blade I have ever owned. I love it.
Unbelievably smooth, comfortable, perfectly manufactured, and powerful blade. Drives are insane, loops require a firm hand, but then it is as precise as a Swiss watch. Gentle in the touch play, and a shotgun from meters away from the table. The most outstanding feature I have found about this blade was the backhand smash. Just like Nittaku Acoustic, it is as linear as you swing your arm. I have tried that with dozens of other blades, not even close. Not even a little bit. This blade does what your body tells it to do. Simply perfect.
I’ve looked hard, but I have never seen this blade sold at such a low price anywhere else. Fantastic control, both from near and mid-distance, and great power. I feel like I don’t have to work as hard to make shots.
I tried a few blades such as Butterfly Viscaria, TB ALC, and Tibhar Stratus Power Wood, but Barwell Fleet gives the opportunity to feel the ball on a completely different level. I am very happy with my purchase, thank you so much TT11.
I ordered Donic Acuda S1 Turbo max rubbers and Donic Bluefire JP 01 Turbo max rubbers together. It was very nice to see small gifts in the package - a collector’s ball and a glued edge tape on the blade. It took exactly a week from the order to receiving the package. I am very pleased with the delivery speed from TT11. The racket turned out to be both fast and controllable. This is a completely different level of quality and characteristics. I am thrilled, thank you TT11!
Japan quality, a masterpiece. Unbelievably soft for short game and soft touches, then bam! - changes to racket speed if controlled so. Amazing, and I know it seems top dollar, but quality has always cost its equivalent. And this time it is perfectly balanced.
Very nice blade, best control with nice speed.
Plays well with all rubbers.
Not so fast. OFF maybe OFF - class.
Very good control.
Super spin.
Excellent craftsmanship.
An excellent board.
Excellent shop, very fast shipment, superb quality of the blade, but very light - only 83 grams.
Excellent class in terms of quality construction of blade. Added power with immense control. Loaded FH and BH with Tenergy 05. No looking back. Spin, loop, push, block, chops all in perfect class. What to say… unless you have tried this classic…
Product is well described. Delivery time was as promised. It’s of very good quality. Thanks.
Excellent piece of construction by Nittaku.
The speed to control ratio is the best part.
Construction and ply arrangement are simply amazing.
Pair it with t05 and simply play…
Heavy, but you get used to it soon. Very good feeling, large sweet spot, capable from any distance, very good at looping away, very good at pushing, good at blocking, terrific at topspin and smashing, ultimate quality blade, nice handle (fl), well controlled. Off -. You pay much, but you buy quality, controlled speed, and, after all, satisfaction! It is fun to play with this blade!
The best blade I ever had! A bit faster than the BTY Primorac EX, but it has such a beautiful feel! Also, the quality is superb. It’s a real topspin monster!
No comments on the finish, as is usual for a Nittaku blade.
Very good quality, but expensive.
Blade with a lot of power and very good control.
Excellent product, top-quality design, and performance.
It’s the best quality and powerful blade. The price is high, but fully worth it. It’s a masterpiece.
It is just one of the best blades that I have tried. It’s good everywhere, at any distance of play. I tried two versions - the heaviest version is less flexible and vibrates more, the lightest had a better feel.
